Before I get to the pics from April 10th, I just have to ask, is there any sweeter, happier sound than that of robins singing early in the morning in spring? Surely it must rank in the top 10 of joy-full noises! :-) Anyway, on to the pics. So Monday April 10: I had taken it off, I always take it off because it's my birthday. Dad was cute and wrote happy "35" in the card he gave me, reversing the digits. I had hoped to take the ferry over to Wolfe Island for pics, but I had to have a washer repairman come in the morning to fix the lid sensor. After he left, Dad and I headed downtown for pictures and a birthday lunch. Dad had their special, swordfish. I had the crab cakes. I ordered crème brûlée for dessert and the server brought it out with a candle. And because it was my birthday, dessert was free. Nice! We headed over to Fort Henry for some pics.
