What a gift it is to be able to see such glorious colour! The first two snapshots were taken yesterday at lunch time and the latter two on my walk home after work.
It's such a frilly tulip, I've never seen one like that - how lovely and what beautiful satiny petals. One advantage of taking Archie out in the garden is that I end up standing and looking more at my own flowers rather than just starting weeding, as it's not possible to do ANYTHING useful whilst holding a kitten in a harness! I'm not allowed to keep him on a harness for many more weeks and he is so desperate to climb our trees and explore the field nearby, but I hope he'll stay close to me! xx

I love the frilly tips of the tulips!!! That's just amazing detail!
And what glorious reds!!
One side effect of your fab pics is that you've got me staring very closely at flowers wherever I pass them!
:-)
Take care

These "little" things are what give my life meaning, to be honest.
Now, if only someone would pay me my current salary (or more) to tramp through the woods all day, camera in hand, and rescue animals too....!
