I love the heat. Really.
It's 5:23PM as I type this, waiting for one of the handyman guys to (I hope) show up around 6PM. No show and no call? No second chance.
Another "no" here is that I have no air conditioning. It's 90F outside right now (32C), with a humidex of 102F (39C). None of the cats has any energy, which in Nicki's case is a good thing. I certainly don't have any energy! This is not typical May weather, but I get a feeling we're in for a scorcher of a summer. Maybe I'll blow up the air mattress and bunk in the basement. :-)
I haven't taken any pics in the last few days, so I'll leave you with a few poppy pics from last week.
Oh, and in a choice between melting heat and sub-zero temps and ice and snow? I'll take the heat. Really.

But I like your attitude - no second chances - darn right!!:-)
As for the heat. You have heat? I want heat! We had the hottest weekend and Monday gone and now it's back to rain, cold and dull grey skies all day. No wonder my cold is not shifting!
Oh but I do remember your days of beyond freezing temps only a few months ago! So what am I moaning about! LOL!
Awww lovely poppies!! They are so delicate but ever so showy aren't they?! Beautiful!
take care
