"Ellen, my love..."
I went down to Portsmouth Olympic Harbour this morning, surprised to see that CORK (sailing regatta) still is taking place, with adult races at this time. I had thought it would be over by now. So the Harbour was busy, but because it was only shortly after 9AM, not as busy as it was when Dad and I went down the other week.
So I strolled around there for a while, out to the end of the pier, then walked along the waterfront path to Lake Ontario Park. I saw "Ellen, my love..." along the way.
I hope everyone is enjoying a calm, normal weekend. :-)

This old-style mailbox caught my eye. Maybe it is old?
CORK flags
She left shortly after I snapped this--I think I scared her off, even though I was quite some distance away.

Looking back toward the Harbour, with the Kingston Penitentiary in the distant background.
I had walked out to the end of the pier first.
I hope Ellen said yes.
I like this small rock. I have pics taken in the winter of this rock.
Not the best snapshot, but I'm just glad I got one!
You have to enlarge to glimpse the birds on the rocks. They were quite far out and I was at maximum zoom.
I walked back to Kingston Centre after that, quite some distance. By the time I got to Loblaws I was grateful for the 30 minute wait for the bus into my area (no way was I walking any further), as I desperately needed water and air conditioning. But it was good to get out--I had been waffling about bothering to leave the house today; I'm glad I did. I hope everyone is enjoying a calm, normal weekend. :-)

Awwww what a lovely walk!!! I love your shots of the water in full flow! Lovely! Your rock looks perfect and odd by itself on the beach!! I do like the water spraying over the rock and near that duck.
I hope you had a peaceful and tranquil weekend too, Kim!!
Take care
