Guest Blogging Today

I'm guest posting today on Reenie's Scribbles, in honour of her 100th post.

It's long, it's not light-hearted and happy, because gee, much of the time life actually does suck, so don't feel obliged to head over and read it. However, Reenie's own posts are well worth reading!

As for today, well, here in my part of the world it's still Friday, it's our once-a-month payday, and I'm going to do my best to take a half day and get some errands done.

Positive work news: I have a template from the Marketing & Communications web people for the big dashboard/metrics project. Yay! Needs some tweaking, but I think it will do nicely. And best of all, it's accessible to things like screen readers for the visually impaired, which JPGs (and of course PDFs) are not.

So back to work I go, and I'll wish everyone a wonder-full day.

Just a few snapshots--very quickly snapped--while walking
home one day this week.

I do believe that it is a good post :).

I mean it.

And thank you for the compliment, I so do not deserve it... haha, but I'll take it :)

Have a great Friday, Kea. It's already Saturday at this part of the world- and it is the FIRST day of the FOUR DAY BREAK (Melbourne Cup!)!!!!

I'm ecstatic :)

Hello! I came over from Miss Reenie's blog to say I liked your entry a lot because it resonated with me. I've been through a lot of trying times lately and everything you said rang true for me. We don't appreciate the every day wonders that we should and I've started noticing the same things. Like looking forward to my morning coffee and enjoying the smell of the frost in the air and spending more time with my family and laughing a lot. And stopping thinking about things I want to achieve in the future and doing what I can NOW to be happy. It definitely helps otherwise as you said, you miss things that you should be enjoying.

Right now I'm looking forward (um, if that's the right phrase!) to winter in Winnipeg and that first day the car refuses to start. :)

PS Dollarama is mecca. I get lots of art supplies from there. They don't even suck!
