Monday Musings
-18C this AM (that's -0.4 F), with a windchill of -28C (-18.4F). I can feel it even through the long johns. LOL.
And we're slated for up to 30 cms of snow tomorrow and into Wednesday. That's a foot of snow in Imperial measurement. On top of what we already have. It's not like we have bare ground here.
Yippee! (Sarcasm)
Annie update: One tiny bit of poop overnight, but not dried up.
However, she threw up her breakfast this AM, with the laxative in it. Don't think that was related to the laxative, because she hasn't thrown up since prior to her stay at the "spa." I'm hoping it was a one-time thing, as she does throw up once a while, but if it happens again today, tomorrow, etc., I'll have to give her something to settle her tummy. Slippery elm or Pepcid or whathaveyou -- I'd check with the vet first.
I'll see if she'll drink her afternoon dose of RestoraLAX in some Almo chicken juice. I'm wondering if it was the cumulative effect of it in her food that moved things along on Saturday and overnight into Sunday, or if it was the single dose in the chicken "juice" I had given her Saturday afternoon (i.e. not in food). Almost everyone I've been communicating with says in food is fine, but I'm not entirely convinced.
As I was heading out the door at 6AM, she was just coming up from the basement, I hope to eat a bit more. I left the vet food out with a small sprinkle of acacia fibre in it. I hope she eats it and I hope she keeps it down. Fingers crossed.
Yesterday I indulged myself and went to Value Village before getting a few groceries. Found seven tops suitable for work, for very little money -- always a plus.

The boys check out the new-to-me purchases -- always interesting scents on secondhand clothing!
I hope everyone has a great day -- and if you're in a snowy and cold region, do bundle up and stay warm!

Dear me, Annie we are hoping that the upset tummy was just a normal little *urp* on your way back to good health. I know my babies all do have occasional *urps*.
