I Should Not Have to Wear Long Johns on April 18th

Yeah, okay, I know "should" is the one word to eliminate from our vocabulary, because things are the way they are and that's it.

But I can't help feeling that it ought to be warmer by April 18th, that I shouldn't have to wear long johns, top and bottom, plus my winter coat, scarf and mitts on freakin' April 18th!

If I believed in the proverbial hell, which I don't, I'd say it was cold, not hot. Because endless cold is my idea of hell.

At least yesterday's visitor(s) to our back space didn't mind the weekend's freezing temps, wind and hail.

I hope you all have a warm day!

We are sorry that we have not commented but we have been without our internet connection straight now for several days before that it was intermittent.
WE have had temps in the upper 80's and feeling close to 90.
*sigh*
I grew up here in Florida and of all things I dislike the high humidity and hot weather. I guess you grow to dislike or like the type of conditions you grow up in!
Hope your weather warms soon.

it was a lovely day here (apart from the 2nd root-filling bit then), blue skies, mild winds, loads of sun and some +16 degrees C. we had (most) all the luck then!

*things will get better*:)

It still a little cold here in alabama..but its gonna be hot the rest of the week.
Summers in alabama are absolutly hellish its so hot.
We are planning to retire somewhere where its not so hot. We hate, hate hot weather..it gets so humid here in the summers you can hardly breath. So enjoy your cold weather.
