Watching Paint Dry...

...isn't exactly scintillating. Coat #1 is on the kitchen ceiling now, as well as the walls, and I'm just twiddling my thumbs waiting to re-coat. The ceiling patches will need a third, possibly fourth, coat.

Getting ready to sand the final patches of mud on the ceiling, prior to painting. I would not recommend my handyman for mudding in prominent spots. Just sayin'.
As always, Nicki's a great help.
If you're grossed-out by middle-aged, fat feet that never have had a pedicure, look away now. I was covered, head to foot.

Paint on my nose,
Paint in my  hair.
Paint on my toes,
Paint everywhere!

(That's my effort at a childish ditty. Heck, even a young child could do better. LOL.

I love my painting apron. My mom made it for me several years ago, complete with asked-for pockets, which come in very handy. It's a very sturdy cotton (canvas?) fabric and has held up really well. Thanks, Mom!
And since I can't teleport myself over to Catherine's for a cup of tea, I'll have to brew my own, then get started on coat #2. I hope everyone's having a good weekend so far, with a little more R&R than I'm having. Ha.

Floral pics from last Saturday AM as I was heading downtown. I think it was last Saturday.

I'm watching this house show so I got to watch painting. Fun :P Someday I can get all projecty :P

Love your snapshots. Do you use a specific camera? I have a digi camera that I should upgrade from at some point. It's good...but it's not great.

Two shots I loved the most: Mister Robin and painted foot! I manage to get paint on spots COVERED by clothing. Scott is perpetually amazed by this "talent". Your house is looking great! That is a TON of work you've done but your place looks new. I like the cupboard doors off; I may have to try that on the ones where my Fiestaware is.

Haha ~ you're so cute! Perhaps we will have tea once you are finished painting... ;)

I'm not grossed out by your feet because they totally look like mine... minus the white paint! LOL!

Love your flower and bird! Hopefully you will be all done your painting and be able to relax soon my friend!
