Slideshow of Upper Canada Village Snapshots

Most of these are really poor snapshots, but it was hard to get decent snaps when in a crowded room facing the windows. LOL.

If you can't view it, and really feel a need to see the pics (you're not missing anything--seriously), let me know.

As for yesterday's snapshots--I didn't take many. Promised myself I wouldn't take a lot of pics heading to the County, since I have so many of the same thing, over so many years. So just a few:

Waiting for the ferry, it's on half-hour service.
Used to be 15-minute service.
Dad and I split an appetizer; awesome hummus.
We also split a pizza. They make them in their outdoor oven. Yummy.
A view from outside the cider company. Usually we're there in the fall, when the grapes are on the vines.
A glimpse of the oven. The menu is limited, but very tasty!
After lunch we went into Picton, me for a latté and Dad for some gelato. A couple came with this dog, Luna. She was fixated on the bagels on a plate. Nothing else caught her eye, but she simply could not be pulled away from the bagels. We have no idea what she thought they were, but it was quite funny!
Errands/shopping for us today...Have a great day, everyone!

OH my stars! It is SO Little House on the Prairie!! Oh wow!!!!! How lovely!! And crowds?? What crowds?!?!? Awwww - that poor calf all tied up - I hope someone rescued it - poor thing!

The village looks absolutely huge! Was everything within walking distance or did you get to ride the wagons to each shop and house? I love that people live and work there - and are as self-sustaining as can be - but I would advise to go easy on the lead medication and maybe the alcohol ones too! LOL! How brilliant!!

Your meal is so yummy - puts my wilted cheese sarnie I'm nibbling as I watch the picture show to the shade! :-)

Awwww lovely Luna!!! I hope she got a bagel treat!! Yay!!! Take care
