Scaring Myself Silly

The doctor couldn't detect anything via pelvic exam yesterday, so is sending me for an ultrasound. I'm scaring myself silly reading about ovarian cancer/cysts. Benign cysts are one thing...cancer is in another ballpark altogether.

I'd like to say that the lower left abdominal and pelvic discomfort is merely a strain, and I hope it is, but it just doesn't feel right, you know?

Anyway, I have to wait to hear from the ultrasound clinic (at one of the hospitals) for an appointment.

In the meantime, life carries on!

Universal Blessings and Light to All Beings.

I'm crossing everything for you, Kim! Including my legs. Altogether FAR too many men up that way recently...

What have your symptoms been like...just wondering as I was so recently down that road, and had all sorts of fun sensations. email me if you want.

hugs, Trish
I have a neice who needed an ultrasound and the wait to get in and the wait for the results were pretty bad. I hope that the wait isn't intollerable and the results are something benign

I hope you can find peace in this time of waiting and let go of all worry.

Try not to worry until you know you really have something to worry about. Otherwise it's all wasted time, energy and very tiring.
I agree with what Vic said, that is the BEST advice!!

Also, I am going to tell you what both my VET and my Internist keep telling me in reference to looking up medical conditions online........DON'T!!!!

I have been walking around for YEARS with a fibroid almost the size of a softball. Both my gyno and my Internist say it will eventually shrink, I can deal with it.

Take Vic's advice!

I'm going to agree with the others, Vic is right. And maybe stop reading things that are only going to scare you more, you'd turn off a TV program that upsets you, right? (I do hope you said yes.) It always helps me to remember that we always fear the unknown. We are going to be purring for you. Read some comics, have some ice cream, distract yourself kindly and positively. And if we can do anything, do not hesitate to let us know.

All blessings, peace and light to you, too.
one paw in front of the other and be like us cats, we don't worry ahead of time...
I had a cyst on my ovaries about 23 years ago now. It was very painful, but not dangerous. They gave me some medicine to dry the cyst up and I never had a problem again.

Positive vibes, will be keeping you in my thoughts. ~Alasandra
