"Oh, god...." or "Oh, wow!"

3:50AM
Big sigh, shoulders slump, "Oh, god, another day."

3:50:30AM
Straighten up, think, "Wow, thank you for another day!"

The first was my initial reaction getting out of bed and getting myself upright this morning.

The second, a few moments later, was my conscious effort to turn that around and be grateful I woke up alive and well, that the boys were fine too (at least then), that I had a good job to go to for the day.

Because it's all a matter of perspective, right?

It's a good day, even if you do have to go to your storage trunk and dig out a winter coat and scarf because it's snowing out. Even if you do have to don long johns at almost the end of April.

It's a good day, with dark chocolate covered almonds as a treat. With some yummy greens and smoked salmon for lunch.

It's a good day with a wonderful, kind, caring amazing blogger in the U.S. who so kindly is sending me another supplement I've ordered for the boys, for their immune systems and general health, something I'm going to try them on a couple of times a week, rather than the every day they claim is fine:

It's a good day, printing out more info on feline idiopathic cystitis and possible homeopathic supplements as well as info on the type of litter to use, what to clean the boxes with (apparently not the bleach I use), etc. One really good link is here:

It's a good day with a little piece of carrot cake and cup of Lady Grey tea for break, and with leftovers already in the fridge at home for supper, no cooking.

So it's all good...At least in this moment. No predictions as to the rest of the afternoon and evening, though.  :-)

Universal Blessings, Light and Mercy to All Beings.

that is a good perspective - especially after listening to a certain momma cat do her American Idol auditions again last night... :)

yes, it is all a matter of perspective; how we choose to see our day is how it goes...good luck and hold those thoughts near!

Yay for positive perceptions and perspectives!! I mean it's ok to be feeling the flip side of these too of course but it's great to be able to temper it with good feelings! Healthier too!

Hope your day continues to throw up good stuff over any bad stuff! Yay!

Take care

You do get up rather early. I am also thinking bad, good, bad, good.

Hope the new natural meds help your sweet purrball.

We have sunshine today. Really nice to hear the birds sing and have it be warm.
we can only take things one day at a time and often one moment at a time :)
Your header is so beautiful. I have to learn how to do that. Your advice is good for me right now, too. I need to chill and live in the moment. We're (pretty much me all by myself) getting ready to move my mom to an assisted living facility and she's packing like she's getting ready for WW3. She has 13 boxes of cereal in her pantry. And that's just cereal. She's going to be a whole mile from Walmart and they take a van load of residents there twice a week! Deep breath, in and out, and fix a martini.

Kim - you have made me grateful that I could sleep in til 7.30 am today, and tomorrow is a day off work and I can sleep in again.

Like you I didn't really want to head off to work, but actually it was a good day with some good people, and I am lucky to have a job.

I got to have a tasty dinner, and relax on the couch tonight. Life is good.
