And I managed to do that how?!?
So I'm in front of the bathroom mirror this morning, drying my hair, and something on my jammie tank top catches my eye. (I shower at night before bed, but do my hair in the mornings.) It appears that I have some sort of bizarre bleach stain all over my tank top, over my left boob.
How the heck did I manage to do that?!?
The top, a pretty knit one, teal colour, was fine last night when I put it on. So all I can think is that I managed to get bleach on it this morning, while bending over my laundry tub to wash my hair. (Easier on my back, to bend over the laundry tub versus the bathtub.) Well, rats! Must have been leftover bleach splashes from cleaning one of the litter boxes, which I also do in the basement laundry tub. (That laundry tub is only a cheap plastic one, the same one that came with the house and that has seen 12 years of painting, etc. It's not exactly pristine.)
Then--and I'm not done--I pull out a pretty short-sleeved knit sweater to wear today, one I've not worn in at least a couple of months. Put it on...then notice some small bleach splotches on the top of the left shoulder.
WTF?!
What is it with me and bleach?! I ruin more clothes like this than I can say. And anytime I do anything with bleach, I don a full-length apron and am covered from neck to knees. Not kidding. Maybe I ought to be donning a bio-hazard suit before I haul out the bleach bottle again, though.
Well, payday is Friday, and it's our long Labour Day weekend, so this might be a good excuse and time to make a Value Village run. :-)

Oh, not related to this...Guess where Toby was this morning? In the tree behind my fence, in the dark, meowing his head off. Guess he's decided that since I don't want him on my fence, the tree is the next best thing. If I were sure he wasn't going to get into the back space with the boys, I wouldn't get fussed about it. Or, if I were sure he and Nicki wouldn't get into a terrible fight, I wouldn't get fussed about it. But I'm not sure on either count, so I am fussed about it. I already spend time with him out front in the mornings, while I have my coffee. He's not coming into my house with the boys. However, if someone out there feels inclined to pay off my debts, provide the money to fix up my house just to sell it (about $40K all told, I estimate, with the labour charges, less if someone wants to do the work for free), then toss in another $100K - $200K so I can find a little bungalow with a large yard and can give Toby a nice home of his own, plus pay any associated vet bills for him, feel free to contact me. I expect my "in" box will be full in mere minutes.
I went for my camera, but even on "night" setting, it was impossible to get much of a pic. Camera in one hand, spray water bottle in the other, just in case. Toby, between you and Nicki, you're turning me off ever having cats again. Ten Derrys...twenty Derrys would not be the challenge that you two are!

Ohhhh that Toby will NOT let you go, will he?
Katie: It's not so bad when it's a plain tee-shirt I ruin, but when it's something nicer, and something I REALLY like....Guess I'll have to start stripping down too. LOL.
Caren: No, Toby's here to stay, which would be fine with a different home layout, better financial circumstances, etc. But it is what it is.
Toby wants your attention so much.
It's such a shame he can't join the two boys, but I know how you feel. Abby is so territorial I would hesitate to bring in ANY more cats. Plus I don't need any more. HA!
I pulled out a cardigan that I had worn once to the hair dresser. Found a spot on it so threw some cleanser on it and put it into the wash. Still did not come out, and I thought about it. It is on the front shoulder area. I wore it to the hairdresser ... ummmm... it's hair coloring. So impossible to get out permanent hair coloring and I wore it once...once....
*sigh*
So I understand.

Would it be worth sitting in the yard with them all just to see what will happen?
Though you've probably done that already???
Perhaps you need get yourself another plastic bowl... one for bleach and the other for ... other stuff. I'd hate you to get a splash of bleach in your eye, or similar XO
Toby is determined to bond with you. You could try controlled introductions with Nicki.
As for bleach..!! Erm.. I'm pretty slap dash with it - I tend to get it everywhere - always! LOL! take care
