That definitely qualified for a bio-hazard!
Our office fridge.
Three of us cleaned it out today -- I had volunteered to dispose of the food, since I can't smell.
Everyone on our floor was sent an email by the organizer of this dangerous expedition, and anything that wasn't marked/labelled got trashed. That was 98% of the "food," and I use that word loosely, in both the freezer and fridge.
Lots of disgusting items, but only one that made me scream at the top of my lungs as I was hauling it out. The entire building heard me for that one, actually.
But it's done. This time. And I came away with a very handy glass butter dish that no one claimed. If someone asks where it went I'll happily return it; otherwise, it's mine. :-)
BTW, every cartoon/joke you've seen/read about the stereotypical office fridge is true!
Have a hazard-free weekend, everyone. :-)
The cartoon I printed out and taped to the fridge, after we were done.

You can't smell? Can you taste? I knew someone who had no sense of smell or taste.
I never used it. Only thing I drank at work was coffee and didn't even use the office pot for that... just Starbucks.
Good on your for taking on the task, your nose comes in handy for a few tasks.
