Scoring great deals at PetSmart this weekend

If anyone shops at PetSmart, this weekend is a great time to stop in and check things out.

I had a 15% off coupon, via email, so stopped in after my hi-lites and cut. I didn't realize they had all sorts of great deals on for Pet Perks members--duh, Kim, it's December, pre-Christmas.

Anyway, I snagged the boys a new ESS for Christmas, 3 cases of ProPlan chicken & liver (the stuff I had such a hard time getting back in October, on sale now for 90 cents per can, regularly $1.19), and 2 cases of Fancy Feast (on for 55 cents per can, regularly 73 cents). I would have taken more cases of food, but five (plus the scratcher) was all I could reasonably carry home on the bus. Both brands are on sale till December 30th, so I'll probably go back next weekend and pick up more, if they're still in stock.

Between the Pet Perks deals and the 15% off coupon, I saved $53.76 on the ESS and the 120 cans of food. BTW, don't waste your money on the ESS scratchers at WalMart. Not only are they smaller than PetSmart's, they don't last as long, either.

Oh, and no one is allowed to tell the boys they're getting a new ESS. They have to wait till Christmas Day! ;-)

And yes, I have a couple of little presents for Toby: catnip buds, which he loves, and of course Temptation treats.

Wallpaper image snagged via a Google search.
Happy sale-shopping, everyone!

If your cats are anything like mine... I will buy them food they love... and they turn their noses up and refuse to eat it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Temptations treats however are eaten by the dozen around here (not by me - I eat chocolate instead) XO

Wow - I'll have to drop by Petsmart. No coupon, but maybe there is a in-store I can use.

I was going to say, how lovely your tree looked when I realized it was wallpaper...still a lovely picture, lol!

Hope the weekend is a little quieter, and have fun at your work lunch...at least as much as you can!

I don't know what to get for my cat for Christmas. I already got him a new bed. He only likes dry cat food. He has a bunch of toys he really doesn't play with. Although he does go crazy for catnip so maybe some new catnip toys are in order.

Your boys are going to be thrilled with their ESS.

I'm impressed with the amount of food/stuff you can carry on the bus! I don't think I could carry five cases of wet cat food and other stuff. I guess maybe it's time I hit the gym!
