Sadly, this isn't a photo effect

From the bus shelter at 6:40AM:

I'm left to wonder what month we're in. February, perhaps.

A few pics snapped around 11AM from various office building windows (the usual "vistas"):

And home (early) from work, around 3PM:

We were lucky, because even early in the morning, the sidewalks and streets were wet, not icy. Everything else was covered in ice, though, and it's only been since 4PM that the ice seems to be dissolving. So I guess we dodged a weather bullet, even though it was nasty out all day.

Oh, here's yesterday's dessert, from lunch with two of my "co-workers":
The tiny piece of truffle (?) cake and the mini-creme brulee. Some of you might remember that the last time I was at this restaurant was with Dad and (uncle) Peter, back in September. I think I had the creme brulee then too. Either that or the chocolate bread pudding (which they didn't have yesterday). Mmm, wish I had more of both right now!

Wishing everyone a warm and DRY weekend. Unless you're in a drought region, in which case, feel free to have some of our soggy weather.

Oh. That is just Sick and Wrong.

The ice, AND the fact that I'm not eating those desserts, right now.

Ohhh looks cold. We have had a little bit of rain here this afternoon, but it is still about 17 deg C, so quite warm. DVDs on the couch, and roast veg in the oven.

Hope it warms up for you soon.

Desserts look very tasty.

You can keep the rain though we don't mind some of the cold. :)

We've had a bit of rain and cold this week, but thank goodness this weekend is supposed to be 70's and 80's.

Creme Brule' is wonderful, isn't it?When we go to nice restaurants (which isn't often), that's my dessert of choice.

Oh my goodness. We've been having some crazy weather here but nothing like that. I hope it warms up and dries up there soon! Ice!

I remember that place when you were there with your dad and uncle. Who could forget those yummy desserts?
