The "Fleas" Are Back

5:45PM and I heard the girl running through the house. I popped upstairs and had a quick peek out my bedroom window (faces the street), saw the truck, doors open to unload stuff.

So thus ends the lovely peace and quiet.

I figured it would have to be this weekend, but I hoped for one more week. Still, school does start on September 3rd, so at least Nicki and Derry will have relative quiet for most of the day.

I have no idea, absolutely none, how I'm going to endure a return of the fighting, screaming, slamming and pounding. It's going to be exponentially harder now.

And whether it's tonight or tomorrow or in a few days, that boy is going to have a complete melt down at being back here and separated from the grandmother.

Gods help me.

Wish there was some solution.
Other than bombarding them with Dark Side Of The Moon I just don't know.

Oh no. Oh gosh. I'm so sorry. I wonder if the fighting and screaming, etc. ever warrant calling the police (?).

Ugh! Maybe things will be better?? One can hope.
When I saw the title, my first thought was, "Diatomaceous Earth". Then I realized you were talking about the human kind. LOL.
I wonder if blasting those classical music for babies would calm them down and hopefully make them sleepy...

Just take it one day at a time, and hope that each day isn't a bad one. I wish that situation would improve for you.
Are there any local noise ordinances? Can you have the police come out and tell them to quiet down without saying who sent them?

Aarggh! I guess the good is they were away for most of the summer. Perhaps now that everyone is home, the parents will find the house is too small for them, and look for another place to live. (That's what happened to me) Fingers crossed!

Perhaps putting parenting class brochures in the mailbox in the dead of night might give them a hint?

Seriously, though I feel for you and wish you could enjoy the peace and calm you deserve.
