Celebrating Nicki's 7th Birthday

This is Nicki's shelter-record birth date, so he's 7 now. About 44 in human years.
I did the graphic some time ago, unsure whether I'd post it on the Fuzzy Tales blog, but am not going to bother. I haven't been active on it recently, and don't want people to leave comments when I'm not participating.

Besides, the reality is that the cats are oblivious to the cyber-world we've created for them!

So we'll have the usual day, with a few new cat mice toys and of course treats. Every day is treat day for the boys anyway, which might be why they're carrying two or three extra pounds.  :-)
 
Happy birthday, Nicki. For such a small body, you sure pack a lot of purrsonality!  :-)

Happy Birthday Nicki! Hope you have a fun filled day! We're celebrating Molly's birthday this year also. She's 20. But we don't really know the date as she was found and dropped off at our house at about 8 weeks old. I'm making her a special *20* dish and water bowl.

"cats are oblivious to the cyber-world"? what??? next you gonna tell say there's no Easter Bunny or Tooth Fairy? My kitties tell me often about the mysterious and amazing poop fairy that comes in the night and steals all their poops from their special box where they leave them. Someday, I'm gonna stay up all night to catch a glimpse of that poop fairy.

It's true that the cats may be unaware of birthdays and such nonsense (really, aren't we a year older than we were last year at this time no matter what the day?) but I enjoy birthdays as times to celebrate the glory of friendship, both human and feline. Happy birthday to Nicki, and may he have many, many more of them.

A big hug and kiss to Nicki (even tho he'd probably hate it) for his birthday! He's the same age as (my) Annie. The graphic is adorable. I love it. I hope he enjoyed his mousies and treats.
