A Daisy By Any Other Name...

I stopped at one of our PetValu's yesterday, for cat food on sale, and saw Daisy:
 
 
I thought she was about 6 months old, she's so small, but she's an adult. I asked about her leg and got her story (click image to enlarge):
 
The store clerk actually told me that Daisy and her kittens had been left in a sealed Tupperware container, so I'm not sure how shelter staff could possibly know her age with such precision. Unless she had been adopted from the shelter as a kitten? She'd have been microchipped before adoption, if that were the case.

In any event, I'm crossing my fingers that she finds a fantastic forever home. She obviously needs and deserves to be doted on and spoiled for the rest of her life.

Her leg makes her look like she's dancing. :) I do hope she gets adopted to a wonderful forever home.

I won't say what I think of those *people* who left her in a sealed container. But I sure hope Daisy finds a special magical home that is comfortable and makes her happy. She certainly deserves it. Just breaks a heart to think of what this poor kitty has had to endure.

Oh, I love her leg!!! It looks like she is doing ballet.

I almost brought home a beautiful girl from PetCo yesterday. She was yellow orange and dainty.

Daisy's story simply breaks the heart. Thoughtless cruelty. I can not imagine the monsters that left her and her kittens in such condition. I hope they receive the karma they deserve.

And as for precious Daisy may she find that special home filled with love and happiness for the rest of her life!

You can get an estimate of the cat's age by looking at the teeth, so when she came in they probably guessed she was three years, and I'm guessing it was four months and six days since she was taken in.

Wow, she looks just like Clooney! Poor sweetheart, what she has been through is just heart-breaking. We send her tons of prayers for the right and perfect forever home to come forward to truly love and cherish her.
