Another productive day...but that's it for the stamina!

I didn't touch the guest room at all today, not even the third coat of primer.

However, I got both coats on the living room, lower hall closet, upper hall (partial), and two coats in my bedroom closet as well. I actually had to paint the entire closet, because the side walls were all scuffed up.

The living room is three-quarters back in order, and three-quarters cleaned. We will not mention the upstairs rooms.

All told, about 15 hours of painting since Friday afternoon, plus clean up time.

I hurt. LOL.I'm at the last of the rye even as I type this, but I think a Tylenol would have been more beneficial. Not as enjoyable, though.  :-)

And to "answer" ManxMnews: Yes, I'm doing most of the work myself. I'm trying to get someone to come in and do the difficult-to-reach painting, do the trim, etc. Have a lead on someone, will see if that pans out. And my cubicle-mate's hubby is supposed to come by (with her) after work one day this week to measure for a replacement basement door--I'm still going for a noise-reducing solid core door, which he will install (for his "friends and family" rate, which includes his wife's co-workers, apparently).

I'm done for the day. I am SO done.

Have a good night/day, folks. If I haven't said it in a while, I appreciate the support more than I can express. I will do my best to visit your blogs ASAP, if I haven't already.

Purrs from you-know-who and peace from me.

When you started I did not realize you had taken on the majority of the primer and painting. Wow is all I can say and I can see why you're down to your last glass of rye!

My gosh you have been busy Kim. I wish I lived closer and I would come and help out. Your treats look tasty, and I am sure you burnt all the calories off.

I do hope this reduces the noise from next door, and I'm sure it will. Aside from that, if you decide to sell in the future, this all will contribute to an increased profit for you and a great selling point. None of this will be in vain.
OMG. I can't imagine how much you ache. I ache just thinking about your aches. Sounds like the end is at least around the next corner, if not in sight. Just a little bit more....
