The view from here

I don't want to see anyone's photos of their green grass and budding flowers. I don't want yet another email from my father with the weather update from the mild west coast.

This is our view this morning, as we're stuck in the third polar vortex in this winter from hell, having our seventy millionth snow storm.

I. Can't. Stand. It.
***
The new bed: I never did post a pic, not that you can see anything but how high it is, and the old comforter that doesn't fit properly. Snapshot from February 17th (before Derry got sick).
The headboard will be delivered on Saturday sometime, and they'll be swapping out the high box spring for a lower one, thank goodness. I'm looking forward to that, even more than getting the headboard!

The boys: Seem to be doing better, I'll do a post shortly on the Fuzzy Tales site, so won't bother updating here.

Purrs from them and peace from me.

Our current weather makes me wish we had your snow right now. ;)

I must say I love how high your bed is. Do you need to vault up there? Heehee.

I almost do need to vault into it. I hop up...and slide off the side when getting out of it. :-D

P.S. No, no you don't want our weather. Our windchill tonight will be minus 31 Celsius. Even for Ontario, this is abnormal...and ridiculous for this time of year.

That is a high bed. Even with a lower box-spring, you may want to get steps for the boys. I have a short flight for my bunch, but that's because half is old and the other half is fat.

Look forward to seeing your new bed with the headboard and hope you are pleased with the lower mattress. OH MY that weather is cold! Understatement I know.

Wow, your bed IS sitting high. Our is like that, too (though it is unfortunately too late for us to get a new box spring or frame). We actually have pet steps for the cats. They love them, but still like the challenge of jumping up onto the bed every now and then. :)

We so hear you about this weather. And we don't even have it as bad as you. I saw an update on Facebook the other day that might make you smile with it's appropriateness. Three simple words: "F*@# you, snow." LOL

Hang in there, Kim. Scritches to the boys.
we're right with you in reference to the weather, since we are in Michigan. Sick to death of it.
Love the bed!
Hoping the boys are doing well!

I won't tell you how Spring or my recent trip to sunny, warm Arizona! The snow is pretty - we have some in the works for this weekend! Yeehaw!!

Enjoy the bed fit for a queen and her boys.

Sorry about the snow...but your photos are rather pretty. And my goodness that's a high bed. We suggest a bench or ottoman at the foot of it. I used to have a very old kitty and had to do that for him to get into bed. Can't wait to see the headboard!

Your bed looks comfy. And the snow IS pretty, but I can only imagine how tired you must be of all that cold.
