Summoned again!

Juror #4752 has been summoned to courtroom A on May 12 @ 9:30AM for jury selection.

I can't think of an excuse this time; Dad's not visiting next month.

I hope it's PMS week.

Do you get called to duty just once in your life or is it possible to be called to duty several times?

I have to say being judged by a jury of my peers sounds a lot better than being judged by ONE corrupt judge.

Maybe you should play 4752 in your local lottery, might win big!

Never been summoned to jury duty, hope that trend continues!

You were summoned once before, weren't you? How do they decide these things? I think I may have mentioned previously, just look straight at the defence lawyer and say, "I'll be glad to serve. I can't wait to stick to his kind."

@ The Furries: Oh, yes, you can be called for duty (and duty selection, as in my case) repeatedly. Thanks for the perspective...but I still don't want to serve on a jury. LOL.

@ Bellen: Yes and yes. I got out of selection the last time because Dad was arriving that week from Vancouver. And yes, I do remember your suggestion and actually might have to use it!
