A Scraggly Day
It's a scraggly Monday here. I feel scraggly--scraggly hair (washed and frizzy in spite of conditioner), cat hair and dander covered clothes, dark circles under the eyes....Typical Monday!
Nice weekend -- Saturday was gorgeous, weather-wise, and I started a bit of back space clean up. Not that there's much to do, considering how small the area is, but it, too, is scraggly from the winter.
The boys had a grand time, lots of sun puddles and tussles. I'll post some of their snapshots here this week, since I now have taken a few hundred so far this month.
I went to Value Village yesterday to look for a "new" comforter for the bed, but didn't find anything in that department. I did, however, get a cute purse, surprisingly roomy for its small size, and three nice dinner plates, grand total $11 and change, taxes in.
I'm still waiting for the appointment for the MRI, though the tingling has eased quite a bit. No change in the numbness of the skin of my upper thigh, however. I wish that would un-numb, it freaks me out. But whatever. I've not been back to physio, for obvious reasons.
I have a workshop tomorrow, not specific to my own job but more of a general nature on mental health awareness, stigma and response. An issue close to my own heart. I hope it's good, otherwise the three hours sitting in the room will be difficult. And wasteful.
The University didn't pay much attention to mental health issues until several years ago when there was a string of student suicides over the academic year and one of the parents filed legal action, I believe. Or threatened to. Now it's a Big Deal, in terms of student mental health. No one talks about staff/faculty mental health, of course. We're all just happy-happy.
That's about it. Same life stuff, different week. I'll stop by ASAP! :-)
Peace.
Someone else was scraggly, from rolling.
Nothing out of the ordinary for the past week. My ear issue is resolved, I'm back to my normal congestion and head-fuzziness, but hey, I can hear again, which is awesome.Nice weekend -- Saturday was gorgeous, weather-wise, and I started a bit of back space clean up. Some crocuses--finally!--from last week.

I herniated a disc in my back four years ago, everything healed up except my leg remains partially numb. It's like a little souvenir from a hellish experience. getting old sucks! Meanwhile, hope you can make the best of the scragglies!
I think numbness means something with the nerve. It will be good to get an MRI. My husband who has chronic back pain gets numbness still from time to time although he had surgery many years ago (we don't recommend that!).
