Interpreting Modern Art

The artist
 The art work
I'm not quite sure how to interpret it. Is it Nicki's comment on the (over) consumerism of humans? A call to do more and better with regard to waste management, and specifically over-packaging? That's the difficulty (for me) with modern art, it can be so difficult to understand the artist's intent!

The artist after working on his piece.
Peace.

Very interesting piece of work, Nicki! We think the Art Institute here in Chicago might be interested in displaying your piece.

I never got into abstract art, but to each their own. Cats do seem to like to express themselves. I have to respect that. Chloe Jo is an artist, too. She is very creative. ❤

I think I will have to stare at it for a long time before I can work out what it means.

Nicki isn't talking about his masterpiece either, is he? MOL

Kim, I've never been into abstract art either, but I'm not sure the intent of the artist matters... but what *the viewer sees in the piece*. I see a cat that enjoyed himself immensely!

A masterpiece! No wonder you're so tired, Nicki! This is the first piece of modern art I've seen that I like! Sleep knowing you're a genius, Nicki! :)

Very funny Kim! I think I tend to favour the interpretation as being Nicki's comment on the over consumerism of humans. Fantastic work! Bravo!

I've got nothing except perhaps Nicki's nap is evident that he knows exactly what the point is, so we can all rest easy. :)

now that took some work.. he was totally dedicated to his art

True artistry is exhausting. Obviously, Nicki is a true artiste! :)
