Hmm, and you know why I had no hot water?

Because someone who likes to get up there and who shall remain nameless (Nicki) dislodged this little tube.

Took the repairman, what, two seconds (if that) to "fix."

I saw the tube hanging down this morning and thought that wasn't right (lol), but I couldn't see where the end went and the schematics in the manual were not helpful to me.

At least I know how to "repair" it if the same thing happens again!

Crazy cat.

I'm glad it wasn't serious but how much did it cost you? I had a repairman come out to listen to my clothes-dryer that was making strange sounds. He listened, heard nothing, and eventually left. He did nothing but cost me $87.

The hot water tank is a rental from our utilities company, so repairs and service charges are "free." That is, I pay for it monthly! I'm sure I could save money in the long run (maybe) if I bought one outright, but then I'd be in deep doo-doo, money-wise, every time I needed a service call. So for the sake of convenience, I prefer to rent.

Thankfully it was nothing serious. Gotta love cats! Lesson learned and it did not cost you anything. Have a great weekend.

Glad to hear it wasn't anything serious, and now you know when Nicki does it again you can fix it yourself. Of course, he'll probably find another way to cause trouble. :)

Have a great weekend!
So, Nicki, you must be very proud of yourself =)
Glad it was an easy fix!
Nice work, Nicki! But now your mom know how to fix it. But we're sure you'll find something else to get into.

Nice one, Nicki! ;)

Kim, we are so glad it wasn't something serious, and that you know what to look for if this happens again.

Have a wonderful, restful weekend!
