Trying to break out of boring...just a bit
I had to go sneaker shopping today, because mine have bit the biscuit.
I went to the Reebok outlet in town, where I usually end up, and of course had to buy the same style yet again. The style I've been wearing for years, because it's the only D-width one they carry. I did try several others in a half-size up (because they weren't wide width), and so wish my feet would have felt really comfortable in one particular style, but alas, it was not to be.
So, to try to break out of boring, just a tiny bit, I picked up some green laces. Green being my favourite colour, of course.
Oh, and I did order those funky leopard-print compression socks via Amazon.ca.
Green shoe laces and leopard-print socks.
Well, it won't be boring. :-p
Peace.

Thanks for your comments about Isabella. She goes to the dental specialist Wednesday for a consultation so we'll see what they say. Initial estimate for the dental procedure is $1100 to $1300 which seems incredibly high considering she has just a few teeth left so hopefully the consultation clears that up too. My biggest fear is that she has an asthma attack while under anesthesia so I want that addressed to. Oh the things we do for our kitties!
I left a comment on your most recent post...outrageous estimate, akin to what most clinics charge here in town! I hope it won't be that much, but of course most of all I hope Isabella will fine.
I remember years ago some a&&hole at an intersection making a comment, as I was crossing, about the "snowshoes" on my feet. I was 20-something at the time. Even then, I was walking kilometers to work most days, so it's no wonder I have foot and leg issues now.
There's an elderly woman I see sometimes, usually on Saturdays at the Farm Boy bus stop, and she's dyed her hair a bright orangey-red hair, wears lots of jewelry and usually faux fur this or that (coat, other), wears tight leggings. (She's very, very thin.) Rather eccentric looking, but I always think, you go, girl. LOL. Maybe she'll be my inspiration!
