It looks like November now!

It was pretty mild and calm for the trick or treaters last night, but then got rainy and windy in the wee hours.

It definitely looks like November now!

Looking west while waiting for the bus this morning. The construction of the overpass (train tracks) is along this road, in the distance.
Waiting to come home:

The boys went out briefly, but prefer to be inside and snoozing.

I would join them, except for the noise and banging from next door. (Just another day in paradise, folks.)

BTW, Derry really likes the new throw on the couch, all of $10 from Giant Tiger yesterday. Very soft, he's furring it up nicely.

Oh, and my mom moves on Tuesday the 3rd. Two days! Exciting times, though she might choose another adjective.  :-p

Peace.

Hi Kim, my thoughts exactly! It very much looks and feels like November today.
The boys look handsome as always. The mum is really hanging on isn't it? I still have three blooming. With the warmer weather this week they should hang on awhile longer.
Stressful time for your Mum. Sending lots of good thoughts her way.
Take care.

We're getting the rain and cool weather here too. It makes me sad but I can't help but be grateful the weather has been so nice this late in the fall. It wouldn't be unusual for there to be snow on the ground for Halloween.

Love the new throw, it's such a beautiful color. I totally understand the attraction for Derry.

Good luck to your mom, I hope the move goes smoothly!

Yes, that mum has outlasted everything else in the garden, and I haven't watered it in weeks. Maybe it's *because* I've ignored it that it's still hanging on. :-)

Talked to Mom a little while ago. Yep, she's pretty hyper right now, as many people would be. Just two more days, though! She hadn't even realized that this will be the first home all her own in her entire life. Reason to celebrate, I think!

For mom's sake, I hope the move goes smoothly too. Certainly there have been enough hassles and problems along the way, time for some calm -- the calm after the storm, as it were.

As for the November weather: We're supposed to be pretty mild all week, which is nice. I'll take it! And hey, we're one day closer to Spring!

Pretty fall colors! It's supposed to very mild here this week. Highs in the mid 60s to low 70s. Derry sure does look to be enjoying that throw. :) I hope all goes well with your mom's move! I hate moving but have done it a lot so know it's doable, and once it's done, it's nice to be in a new place. I hope she will be happy.

Here in southern Alberta, November is living up to its reputation as the windy month. Hallowe'en was calm here, with few children out. I amd Renn watched a movie, as usual on Saturday nights. Let's see your mum's move top that for excitement!

Seriously, though, I hope all goes well for her. Moving is stressful, I know.
Now that's a throw we'd love to fur up!

I hope Mom will be content, if not happy. It'll be her first very own home, not shared with anyone else. I think that's great!

I've been wondering if you've moved, or are still waiting to sell the house. Fingers crossed for the very best outcome for you, for your Highest Good.

As for exciting Halloween nights, I went to bed around 8PM as usual. Ha.

I can go to Giant Tiger (discount store, mostly crap) a dozen times and not find anything. Then that 13th time, I find a few things! Go figure.

Hoping that your Mom's move went as well as a move can go. Overcast and gray here today but we are moving into our dry season and sigh it's 87 degrees today. NO fall for us. Derry looks very happy on your new throw.

Still waiting for someone to be interested in my house. Just one couple so far. Sigh.

I hope Mom's move goes well too, she needs a break! Apparently she still has to return to the house once a day to ensure all is okay, for insurance purposes. The closing is the 10th, I think. 9th or 10th. So she'll be in her apartment a week before the responsibility for the house is no longer hers.

Yes, it definitely looks like November in your pictures. The fall colors are so beautiful; if only they did not give way to snow and ice. ;)

What a find that throw is! We need to get some, too ... hopefully, we'll luck into a bargain like you!

Purrs, prayers and good thoughts for your mom. Moving is so stressful. We hope it goes smoothly.

Hugs to you and the boys!
