Late Bloomers

I didn't think there were any blooms left in this city (other than potted mums!), but I spied these on my way to work early yesterday morning. The light was still a bit too low for clear/sharp shots, so apologies for the slight blurriness.

They face south, so I'm sure that helps considerably!

Oh, by the way,  Nicki's T4 results came back just fine, as expected. Thanks for the good thoughts for him.

Nicki, testing the resilience of my purse.
Nothing else of note at my end, it's a grey and dreary week, and I'm looking forward to the weekend. On a good note for my mom: the house-closing went through on the 10th, and she now is completely free of it and officially starting this new chapter in her life. Way to go, Mom!

Peace.

Yah for good T4 results!! Hard to believe winter is about here again, ugh! I'm not ready to say goodbye to the sun.

Hi Kim, lovely to still see some flowers. Great photos.
So glad Nicki's test results were good!
See you Sunday!

It snowed here Monday but before that, we had some late bloomers, too - some dandelions bloomed in my front lawn...

It's good to read that Nicki is doing well. Keep up the good work.

There is definitely nothing blooming here, -5C this morning but we're warming up over the weekend. It's so nice to see a little color.

Glad to hear Nicki is doing well, and the your mom's closing went without a hitch. Good news!

Thanks for checking in - still feeling under the weather though I still haven't gotten to the doctor. I had to go out of town on Monday and Tuesday for work, thought perhaps having a day to rest on Wednesday would help but ended leaving work before noon today. I suspect I'll take another day tomorrow and make a trip to the clinic. I suspect I'll be told it is simply a virus and there is nothing to be done but rest and drink plenty of fluids. I'm just tired of feeling sick and tired.

Have a good weekend!

Yay for your mom! Yay for Nicki's T4! Yay for those pretty flowers!

It's not cold here but grey and dreary too with rain. Sun is coming for the weekend, though.

Aacckk! Don't want to think about s-n-o-w just yet, though it's coming all too soon, no doubt before the end of the month!

I'm thinking Spring thoughts! :-D

Thanks for checking in, Eileen. I hope you at least get some rest over the weekend. Take care!

They're probably the only blooms left in the city. LOL. It's been uncommonly mild lately, so that's helped too. But of course "mild" is relative! :-)

I hope we all have a sunny weekend, it's even more depressing now that the clocks have turned back. It's dark when I get home from work, so dreary.

Thanks, Julie, I hope both you and Poppy have a lovely weekend too. Take care!
