How does it get any better than this?
It's the holidays, I'm off, right now the neighours are gone, the boys seem okay, I won a free ticket on the Lotto Max, I have wine in the fridge...How does it get any better than this? :-)
So, mostly I have pics from the past couple of days. Lots and lots of pics. Amazing cloud pics from Christmas Eve. Dark and blurry pics of the boys on Christmas Day. Tales of online shopping (paws up for free shipping from Ikea yesterday). Too much for one post, so I'll start with the cloud pics on the 24th, all snapped over a ten-minute span while waiting for Jysk to open. (No, I didn't buy anything, I went to check on something I had seen online.)
First, early AM on the 24th, my only shot of the moon before the clouds covered her. I wanted to see how well the little Nikon would do -- not nearly as good a job as my Fuji!
These (below) were outside of Jysk (not all taken in the same direction/at the same point in the sky). The wind was strong and the clouds were moving quickly; I found them mesmerizing.
Pretty neat!As for the boys, this is how they spent much of Christmas Eve:
And these poor lilacs have been fooled into budding. I snapped them on the 24th as well. Alas, winter is on his way now; good thing lilacs are a hardy plant.
That's enough for one post. I'm glad Christmas is over, truth be told. It was okay, but I enjoy the lead-up more than the actual day. (As I'm sure many do. LOL.)
More to follow another time.
Peace.

I also love the photos of the boys. Adorable!
Poor lilacs.
I too am glad Christmas is over. I am thoroughly sick of Christmas music!
Take care.
It's not the music I'm sick of, though I typically don't listen to any after Christmas Day, Boxing Day at the latest. I've just had enough now of the whole media hype and all the happy, loving family expectations around the holiday. I did better with it all last year, this time I felt "meh." :-)
Hooray for absent neighbours and relaxing days. Hope the rest of the vacation stays much the same.
Cats, clouds, and no neighbors around? Sounds magnificent!
Hugs!
