"I'm being followed by a moon shadow"

"Oh, I'm bein' followed by a moonshadow, moonshadow, moonshadow...Leapin and hoppin' on a moonshadow, moonshadow, moonshadow..."

Around 4AM this morning

You can see Cat Steven's in a 1970 concert, singing "Moonshadow," here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hr0rDW5j1KU

Wow! I knew there was a super moon this weekend, but I go to bed to early and get up too late to see it. Thanks for sharing!

Have a good week!

Great photos Kim. It pays to get up early!
I always LOVED that song....but...now you are going to be in trouble because I won't be able to get it out of my head! lol catchatwithcarenandcody

Nice photos. Heavy rain here tonight so no chance of seeing the supermoon.

Eerie is a good word for the pics, yes. Clear skies last night, though, so a good shot of full moon, unobstructed. :-)

It was a clear sky when I got up at 4AM, so I got a good shot of the moon, no clouds obscuring it.

Super moon = super crazy time in the world, IMO! :-)

Sometimes it does, Robin. Of course, it helps if one can nap later. LOL.

It's such a pretty song, though, Caren. :-)

I don't think the full moon would be a priority for you or anyone else there right now, Julie. Hugs.

I always like a full moon. I like it when it is big and orange near the horizon, and the sky is milky blue in the twilight, and I like it the way you've photographed it, through clouds the backs of which are illuminated. I call that a 'ghostly galleon' sky, from the poem by Noyes.

"Ghostly galleon" sky is aptly put. I did get a clear pic of the full moon this AM -- definitely "super" bright!
