Finally a real post

I still don't really understand what's going on with the blogger/spam issue, in spite of someone (repeatedly) trying to explain what she thinks has happened. A hack at the Blogger end of things? I saw those spam posts in a secondary Feedly account I have, when I checked it over the weekend, so it's not just coming from whatever email Blogger uses when you subscribe to feeds.

Whatever.

I did forward the text of the spam email on to Canon US, but would bet dollars to doughnuts I'll never get a response from them.

So, onward.

Nicki's back to eating his bit of kibble daily now, and is doing fine other than another asthma attack before his Flovent this morning (previous one was ten days ago, the day after his dental). Crappity crap, but it is what it is.

The boys spent part of yesterday being tormented by a couple of the squirrels, one of the grey fellows and one of the black. (I didn't get a good pic of the grey one.)

Derry out on Saturday afternoon, below.
He knows darned well the camera
is pointed at him through the patio door glass!
I rounded up more stuff for another Salvation Army donation today. Not nearly as much as the previous two times, and I hope they take it all. Otherwise it's off to the dump.
Finally, Carlos, the senior cat my co-worker's dad recently adopted, has settled in well, as you can see. He's living the good life!  :-)

That's it for me. If anyone who reads this is savvy enough to know what happened with the old Fuzzy Tales blog roll/feed (see previous three posts) and can tell me if I'm supposed to do something I haven't already, please do get in touch. Thanks.

Peace.

I love seeing Derry, "our" boy (I claim him too :-) and I certainly love seeing Carlos in his sunpuddle and happy in his soft rug.

Hi Kim, lovely photos of the boys. The squirrel with his peanut is pretty cute too!
Carlos looks so happy. Glad his story has a happy ending!

I know very little about hacking. To me, it's what I do when I have a cough but not enough phlegm to make it sound throaty. I think you've done all you can do. Why would someone want to hack a link or feed at all?

Nicki's latest asthma attacks may be related to the stress of his hospital visit. Since he's back to eating his hard-food, other things may settle down as well. That's an excellent picture of Derry; you should save that one.

And Carlos is indeed set for life, the lucky boy.

Thanks. Derry is hard to resist, with his smoochy-boy face, even at 9.5 years. :-)

This morning I watched one squirrel out the window here at work, a huge piece of something in its mouth (bread?), being chased by another for the breakfast. I hope they shared in the end. They really are endlessly entertaining, even though they can be pests.

Yeah, that's pretty much what hacking means to me as well. Ha.

I hope you're right re: Nicki, though I don't think he'll ever go months on end without an attack again, unfortunately.

That is one fat squirrel, Kim! We don't have black squirrels around here in Texas. We did have them on the LSU Baton Rouge campus in Louisiana. Nikki looks good. And Derry is giving you that "would you just go away..." look.
sorry...I didn't mean to be a pain. Was just trying to help. Love the photos!

You weren't being a pain, I just couldn't understand what you meant! :-)

Yes, all the squirrels are quite plump. I don't know who feeds them, but they seem to find lots of peanuts, so someone must be putting them out.

And Derry excels at that "lose the camera" look. :-)

Carlos is so handsome as is smoochie Buddy Derry!

I'm useless with this computer stuff. I think you've understood it far better than I ever would.

Those fat squirrels, I'm sure Nicki and Derry would like to chase them until they were little less well-fed. I hope Nicki's asthma attacks become less frequent. Perhaps it heralds a change in weather?

Look at you ridding yourself of all the stuff. I'm looking forward to this spring when I can get out to, and clean up the garage. Perhaps I'll be able to convince my daughter to rid herself of some baggage too...and I'm not just referring to the b/f.

Have a great week!
Carlos looks so contented and that is a great squirrel picture. Scylla licked the screen it looked so good. Derry looks pretty smug.
Kea said…
I agree on both counts. :-)

Nicki's not handsome, but he makes up for that in brains and character. LOL.

LOL at the b/f remark!

I'm reaching a point where there's not much more than I can get rid of while I'm still living in the house. Not larger items anyway. The guest futon...but I still need a guest bed for the time being. :-)

LOL! Yes, those squirrels do look pretty tasty. :-)

So happy that Nicki is pretty much back to normal with his eating. Derry and Carlos are looking great (and so are those squirrels). :)
