Tuesday Tabbies
Just some recent pics of the boys, from the past couple of weeks. I could do a post about "the curse of the area rug," but that seems inconsequential given my previous post about Ricky and Baby. Besides, I've already vented to a friend about that!
So here are my chubby...okay, one is obese...tabby boys, for a smile (I hope) on this Tuesday.
Nicki doesn't look too pleased to be the focus of the camera's attention.
No one...no one...can do a "poor me" face like a cat can.
BTW, I obviously didn't destroy the squirrel family when I took the nest down in March, because three young ones love to play on the fence in the evenings, scurrying between the sheeting and the wood of the fence and generally being silly, as all young ones are.
I've seen one black and two greys chasing one another or perching on the fence, all lined up along the top.
Oh, and while I think of it, does anyone know what this is, below? I planted this last year but have lost the little marker thing that tells you what it is. Half is blooming white, the other half blooming the dark pink-ish shade.
Whatever it is, it seems to love the semi-shaded spot, has really set in and taken off. It's a pretty addition to the mostly-green perennials!Peace.

Love the photos of the boys, they are enjoying the warmer weather. Love Nicki's big yawn.
See you soon!

The boys are adorable. I wish I could hug them. (Though I'm not sure how they would like that!)
Glad the squirrels are scampering about...they are hooligans but I still like them.
And while the boys might not like being described as such, they are very pretty too. :)
Nicki's not much for being picked up and snuggled; I can do it for a minute, then he wants down. Derry is the one who likes to be picked up and cuddled, but he's so heavy I can't hold him for long. :-D
werd in thiz post ....
oh beeze.....
faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa ~~~~~~~~~
:) ♥♥
Derry's past "chubby," though, which isn't good for his little body. It's hard to lose weight, however, in middle age...as I know only too well!
Plenty of weeds and moss in the back space this year, there's been so much rain. At least everything is lush-looking right now.
As always, we loved seeing Nicki and Derry. Those handsome dudes really seem to be enjoying being outside in the sun.
As for cat-weights, I figure I'd rather have mine with a little extra than a little less. They can lose weight so rapidly when they are sick, I prefer to have some roominess to lose.
Nice to know almost everyone is in agreement that the flowers are a type of columbine!
I've been reading your blog for years ( at least 6 ). Love it !! Your boys are SO cute !!!
