There was some of this:

And this:

Lots of this early on Sunday morning:

Plenty of this for entertainment:

And finally, an ample amount of this too!

So how was your weekend?

Looks like the purrfect weekend to us! Is that fog or smoke or rain?

Wouldn't it be lovely to have the life of our house cats?

Goodness..Our Sunday looked like your Sunday but it got better by mid morning. Mom took a walk in it anyway. xx
We had a lot of fog last week too! The building's heat kicked on for us if we needed it and now we are back to air conditioning! Lovely Chicago weather!

Great photos Kim! The fog was heavy here this weekend too.
You know what our weekend was like around here! This coming weekend is Applefest so we will be out and about then.
Take care!

That was fog, not something we get a lot of here. It cleared off pretty quickly, though.

Yes, in a lot of ways it would. I envy their "here and now" state of being. We humans seem to be cursed, in a fashion, with perception of the past and future, which really diminishes enjoyment of the present.

It started clearing up not long after I snapped the pics. Fog is not a usual occurrence here, so it always reminds me of living in Halifax, NS for so many years when we do get it.

I know, a couple of weeks ago I was enjoying the house being at 68F or so, now we've heated up again, so that the air con has been coming on in late afternoon or evening. Summer's last gasp, I imagine. (But I am THRILLED to have that ac, let me tell you!)

Applefest sounds fun, Robin, I seem to recall you guys went to it last year too. Kind of nice to be a small area that offers so much that is easy to get to. :-)

They'd like to pop him off, trust me. Nicki in particular! A couple of them, the black included, were having a game of chase all over the fence at one point. High entertainment for us all. :-)

Your pictures are awesome, Kim! Wow! The boys are handsome, too. Hugs.
Love the photo of your boys.
A nice mysterious late summer fog.

I love fog, and I love drizzly mornings when I don't have to go anywhere. The yawning looks good, too, if I get to sleep it off. I'm glad you had a decent amount of sleep on the weekend. I get that sometimes - only to have it ruined by going to work on Monday!
Kea said…
It was for them! Stinkin' hot out, though! :-)

It was...though for some reason the weekends always fly by, whereas the work weeks can take "forever" to get through. LOL.
Kea said…
Thanks. Quick snapshots, nothing special, but I enjoy snapping away. :-)

I like the fog we get here, probably because it's rare. I know it was miserable on hair styles when I lived in Halifax. LOL.

You want to borrow the boys for a bit? They take turns driving me nuts...then can be so sweet, cuddled up and purring away with me.

It's usually more interesting to look at pics than read a lot of words. :-D

The weekend seems ages ago now. :-P

I'm actually looking forward to cooler fall weather (again), sweater weather. Not sweaty tank top weather. LOL.

Oh, yes! Sunday night I didn't sleep well at all, last night I lay awake for about an hour thinking about work stuff and chastising myself for thinking about work stuff....

That was a lot of fog ! my mom, she couldn't remember the last time she had seen the fog =^x^=
We love the photos of the boys, they are always up to something FUN !
Your squirrel is HUGE ! , May be because of Bangkok squirrels are so small & skinny.
Have a great week, I always love your post
=^x^=

That's not even a particularly large squirrel. They grow 'em big in these parts. :-D

Thanks for stopping by; take care!

Looks to us like you had a wonderful weekend, dear friends. I love the fog shots, and the boys look handsome and adorable, as always. :)

Thank you, Kim, Nicki and Derry, for your thoughtful condolences and purrs about our sweet baby Zoe's passing. They are a source of great comfort to us. We appreciate you, and are so grateful for your friendship. Love and hugs.

Kevin, you and Tracey have been in my thoughts. Hugs to you both.
