The fall colours have been amazing this year!

Usually most of our trees are rather brown and drab in the fall, but this year, perhaps because of the heat all summer and then the rain earlier in the fall, the colours have been amazing.

Most pics were snapped over the past couple of days, in or around campus, and I think all with just the cell phone. I can't get enough of the reds!

Everything is going out in a blaze of glory. 🍂

I'm wishing everyone an amazing weekend!

Peace.

Beautiful photos! We're having a colorful fall here as well. Spring is my favorite season but I can see why fall is the favorite for a lot of folks. It's truly magical! Have a great weekend!

I'm with you on spring for the favourite time of year, but fall is second favourite for me. 🙂

Thank you or sharing your fall colors. I'm miss fall very much now that I'm back in CA. I remember when I moved to PA how excited I was for my first real fall. It's such a special time of the year.

I would miss fall too...but definitely not winter! :-)
Thank you for sharing your fall colors. They are just so beautiful and bright. We love the leaves changing color and with Halloween coming up it makes feel like it. Great seeing your photos. Have a great rest of your weekend.

Love the reds too! We don't get them much here in Saskatchewan unless someone plants a specific tree. It's mostly oranges and yellows. Unfortunately we had pretty cold weather (and a bit of snow) so the leaves are pretty much finished....which means winter isn't far behind. :(

Thanks for sharing the photos, they are lovely.

Have a great week!

Thanks for stopping by; you enjoy the weekend as well.

She certainly is, though with our current wind and COLD, those leaves will be gone shortly!

We're having a very cold, windy and rainy weekend, so there won't be many leaves left come next week. I'm trying NOT to think about the season to come!

WOW!! Those trees are gorgeous. We're not seeing much beyond brown here, so am happy to see your pretty pictures. Enjoy the fall. Out blog walking, always fun to meet new bloggers.

Thanks for stopping by, however you found me!

Your tour of Italy looks fantastic! I was skimming through a few of your more recent posts. The food, art and history...wonderful!

Wonderful images, as always. We generally just have the yellow leaves here on the prairies. There isn't much variety. But I do still enjoy seeing them; early autumn is a beautiful time of the year. Unfortunately, most of the trees are bare now. It reminds me of a simile from the book "Watership Down", describing someone who is like 'trees in November'...

Amazing colors, Kim! Ours are still sort of just meandering along ... splashes of vibrancy here and there, but peak is probably a couple of weeks away (we hope)!

Many of our trees are heading for bare now, too, as it was so cold and windy over the weekend. Well, we're one day closer to spring! :-D

Mmm, how lovely not to be in (or past) peak fall colour season yet! I heard that areas north of our city got as much as 17 cms of snow over the weekend (we didn't, just a bare dusting of wet snow that quickly disappeared). It's EARLY for that, will make for a long weekend!
Our fall colors are beautiful so far this year, but not nearly as gorgeous as yours!

This is an anomaly for us! We had a cold and rainy weekend, though, and we've lost a lot of the leaves now.
