"Free, free, set them free"
I thought you might want to know that Derry has been healing nicely since he got his stitches out, and the cone off, last Thursday (August 6th).
He does groom the incision area quite a bit, but already the fur is starting to grow back. I hope he feels better without that huge fatty lump attached to his side! I know I would, if I were in the same situation. LOL.
Anyway, I hope everyone is doing well, is surviving the summer heat (if you're in the northern hemisphere). As much as I dislike our long, bitterly cold winters, I will be glad for the respite from the high heat and humidity. Maybe when I'm 85 I'll appreciate it, but not right now. :-P
Take care; peace to all.

So good to see your Derry out and about and FREE!
That fur will regrow in no time and his grooming will not harm him, guess it is itchy.
Our Spooky ate his pill so well last night, we'd hidden it inside a little treat but it came out and he ate it anyway. So sweet and he did manage to stand on his right leg and walk a lot better so we both are confident that he will get rid of his pain!
Have been studying Turmeric for cats, so we will wait and see if the pain goes away for knowing sure it is the right thing to treat.
If our fur babies hurt; we hurt!
Hugs,
Mariette
As for the heat and humidity, I don't care for them, either. It's warm here but not as hot and humid as it was. I won't mind the early autumn...
We're getting a bit cooler here this week, so hopefully it will make its way to you. I'm not ready for fall, if I could we'd have this weather - low to mid 20C until December!
Take care and stay well!
I have to admit I am looking forward to cooler autumn weather.
