Leftover May Pics

Wow, the end of May already. I can't believe how quickly the time is passing, even though some of the days seem long to me, with no change in my daily routine.

Anyway, I'm going to post some remaining May pics to wind up the month (mostly floral). The tulips, lilacs, etc. are done now, of course, or at least have peaked and are on their way out.

I hope everyone has a great week; take care and stay well.

Note: Comments are off for this post, just enjoy the colour, if you like flowers! Otherwise skip the snapshots. Well, except for the cute one of Derry at the end.  :-)

I was struck by how deceptively pretty the view of one part of the complex was, below. That fence barricade had been put up in late winter to prevent people (me included) from cutting across the driveway (rental unit) to cross the green space. From just the right angle, with the trees in bloom at the time, it looks lovely. (My own street looks more like an urban slum, thanks to one of the tentants.)

Little fink, this squirrel! I caught him trying to bury a peanut in the pot of begonias, which might explain why half of the plants were destroyed.

Enjoying the scents and sights of spring.  :-)

Peace.
