Emmy - Puppy Therapy

I met Emmy on my walk home this morning. She's a 12-week old Akita pup, just two days in her new (hopefully forever) home.

Look at those legs and paws, she's going to be a big girl!

She's a doll, and she was being such a good girl, not pulling on the leash or jumping on me or others, or their dogs. She'll make her human mom a great companion!

It made my day to meet her. There's nothing like puppy (or kitten) therapy, even if only for a few minutes.

Peace.

Dearest Kim,
You are SO right, it makes one's heart sing.
At least all of us that love pets!
Love her wet paw prints in the picture.
That human mom found herself a loyal companion for many years.
Hugs and thanks for sharing her with your readers,
Mariette

Oh wow after a few days of not being able to comment on blog all of sudden "G*gg*le decided it knows me again and I can comment. What the heck? That is one adorable puppy!
Cute pup, even though I am strictly a cat person. I try to give dogs the benefit of the doubt, mol.

Ha! She looks like her lower half has been dipped in white paint. She even has the wet paw prints on the asphalt. What a cutie.
