Pics from Presqu'ile Provincial Park and Brighton Bay
Happy week's end, everyone. It's been a short work week for me, but it feels LONG. I'm waiting for the guys to get here; they had to do some shopping this morning. Nothing better than spending someone else's money! (That is, mine!)
So since things look pretty much the same as they did yesterday, and will until the flooring and vanity get here, I'm sharing some pics from Tuesday's visit with friend R. It was a dreary, rainy day, but still lovely in Presqu'ile and down at Brighton Bay.
Take care, all.
The snapshots are best viewed by clicking to enlarge. Keep in mind I had only my little pocket point and shoot, not my better camera!
Along the marsh boardwalk in the Park.
Note the pale legs on the swan, below.

Down by one of the rocky beaches. The waves were high, and the young mergansers (think they're common mergansers) wanted to go into the water, but it was too rough.
Huge extended goose family down at Brighton Bay.
Teenagers. :-)
There were several swans at the Bay too.
I can't get enough of them!

One final pic, the feral cat on my doorstep very early this morning. I was sitting on my little deck box. He runs when I get closer or go in/out, but comes back quickly; he knows where the food is!
Peace.

glad you got out even if damp. Keep the geese, lol. You know how I feel about those friendly birds. And from this photo of the grey kitty, I can see the poor things ribs and bony body. It is good it came back for more food as it certainly needs it.
What a lovely time spent with your friend R, emerged in the beauty of nature and indeed; rain or shine—always glorious!
Oh, those swans are such regal water fowl, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines used their images a lot and rightly so.
Poor kitty, living deprived of human love and tenderness.
Thank you for nourishing his body!
Hugs and good luck with your renovations. We got BINGO here as well, our kitchen sinks got clogged up and what a mess for opening up the pipes below! Guess after 32 years of living here, that is 'normal'... Always something in and around home. One day I'll have it all clean and shiny again and smile about it. NOT NOW!

Paws and fingers crossed for that reno to get done SOON. Sorry it is taking so long.
Hugs to you, and scritches to Derry!
I hope your contractors are efficient and get the work done with a minimum of fuss and muss.
The little feral is a cutie!
