My heartfelt thanks for all your caring

My deepest, heartful thanks to all who have left such loving words of condolence, and to those who reached out by email and text as well.

A special thank you to Ann of Zoolatry, who made this beautiful Rainbow Bridge image of Derry, below.

I will try to reach out to everyone on their blogs when I'm able to, though that will take time. I'm still feeling very raw and shaky both from grief and from lack of sleep, so am trying to be kind to my myself, trying to give myself the space and time I need.

It's very strange to be without any furry companionship after 22 years. I've been a cat mom for so long that I'm not quite sure what to do now. I guess, like everyone else, I just have to take it day by day.

I thought that perhaps next Monday, or another Monday if I'm not ready, I could do a "Monday Mancat Memories", rather than Friday Flashbacks. I like posting the funnies on Fridays, hope to continue that.

A mancat Monday would be a nice way to remember both boys, though. I'll let that idea sit with me and try it when I'm ready.

In the meantime, I'm so grateful for the support, especially since I haven't really been cat blogging (on Fuzzy Tales) in years, so am on the outskirts of the community. Bless you all for your kindness.
