Off the Mark cartoon was actually on the mark As far as real live cats are concerned. How cute. My problem is no matter how tired I am in the daytime I can't fall asleep anywhere in a chair or on the couch. And in bed in the dark it takes me an hour to get to sleep.
I feel for you, Lynn. Most of the time I can fall asleep, but I wake after a couple of hours and then often have difficulty getting back to sleep. I haven't slept well in decades, actually (no exaggeration). Chronic exhaustion is a real health issue!
OH BOY KIM do I wish I had the answer to the last one too. When my head hits the pillow turns on my crazy brain. Madi love sleeping everywhere except her many cat beds. She loved being high so probably why Hugs Cecilia
Dearest Kim, Oh that first one is SO TRUE! I've felt guilty so many times for leaving our babies behind while on the road with Pieter. Knowing that they have Ingrid our cat sitter, who speaks more or less like me, she is from the Belgian province of Limburg... But still—forcing them to be without cuddles and talks seems cruel! The second one is also very true, except for one of our leopard cat beds that I've placed in our bedroom in front of the French sliding doors to the balcony. That has suddenly become SO in demand! It resided in the pantry due to no interest... Go figure! Big hugs, Mariette
I will say too that when Admiral saw the suitcase out a few days ahead of time as I packed it in dribs and drabs because of a very daunting work schedule...she started avoiding me from then till several days after I returned. I flew to New Orleans every 6-7 weeks for my long break...of course I had a pet sitter, but Admiral was glad when that travel stopped. And that third one about sleep...I will say "me too", I fall asleep fairly decently, but wake about 0330...hard time going back to sleep and. all I do is doze, really.
Perhaps, since my son lives with me, and cares for Saku, I have no guilt in leaving him behind when I travel. But he does like to climb in the suitcase while I pack...just in case. Great cartoons - though the last one hits close to home here too. Put a golf game on the television, and I'm asleep on the couch in minutes. :)
