Monday Mancat Memories: Way too much snow!

These are various snapshots from February 2008; I see we had A LOT of snow that month! (BTW, we have way too much snow in February 2023 too!)

The boys were young and adventurous, of course--and always happy to be inside and cosy too. In order: Derry, Nicki (king of the hill), Nicki on the old couch, Derry having catnip play time, and Derry doing his impression of king of the hill. (Though Nicki did that better!) 💖

Next time I'll post from March 2008. It's fun, but very bittersweet, to look back through the old photos. I hope the stars align so I can adopt another fur baby at some point. :-)

BTW, thank you all for your thoughts and prayers regarding my mom and dad. My dad has had heart arrhthymia for a number of years, well managed (and he's quite healthy and active), so when he told me that he has CHF, I was taken aback. It's my mom who has had health issue after health issue all her life; Dad's always been robust and, in my little girl's mind, ageless.

But this is just life--none of us gets out of it alive. Both my parents are in their early 80s, and I know I'm blessed to have had them with me this long.

In the end, there's nothing to do but laugh--genuinely laugh--at the absurdity of life.
