Monday Mancat Memories

Still from April 2008, the boys were enjoying the slowly-warming back space.

The first two are of Derry, then Nicki, then both boys (ships passing in the night), and finally Nicki chewing on a perennial he shouldn't have been eating.

Most of the mancat memories will be from the garden, since they spent so much time out there. 🌱

I hope everyone had a lovely Easter weekend. I did the best I could with the holiday, took myself out for a long waterfront walk on Sunday morning and enjoyed seeing mergansers, geese, long-tailed ducks, a fox, "regular" ducks, a swan, and lots of snowdrops and crocuses. I will post a few pics on another day.

Peace.

Hi Guys ... early garden weeding, we see ... always nice to visit with you both.
Lovely photos, particularly the first and third.
At least you have nice enough weather to get out and take a walk. Glad to hear that. It's warming up here incredibly fast this week but I'm sure it's only very temporary. The boys look so good in those pictures I just love seeing what you have. Sorry I didn't know them when they were both alive together. If you make it out shopping today I hope it's also good weather for that. Lynn and Precious XX
Dearest Kim,
Glad you had a good walk on Easter Sunday!
These images make the boys come back to life again.
Love them all and yes, chewing on things not meant for them belongs to their discovery of life...
Big hugs,
Mariette

Guess this time your Mom could 'hear' us sing the Hallelujah Chorus from Händel... Felt so good to be with the chancel choir after almost 7 weeks and Pieter enjoyed it.

Derry you found the purrfect spot to watch over your garden while sunning.
Nicki sometimes a guy just has to color outside the box right?
Kim walking is one of my favorite pass times it is good for every inch of your body and soul
Hugs Cecilia

I hope that the outdoors gives you clarity and helps loosen the cobwebs. Thinking of you. Love seeing Derry and Nicki.

Very nice flashback.
Those are wonderful and I love the ships passing in the night, it could be shift change too!

Cats chewing on things they shouldn't... They could compete in the Olympics in that sport. You saw a fox? Nice. I have always liked those guys.

Great photos - the boys were fortunate to have a safe space outdoors to enjoy.
It sounds like Easter was a lovely day for a walk. We're finally melting here (and quickly with warmer temps) and there are few geese around though still ice on the pond. I'm hoping to get out tomorrow for a walk to see how much has opened up.
