Friday Funnies

Before the funnies, I wanted to note the reason I haven't been posting the Monday Mancat Memories for the past few weeks. It's partly because I didn't have many for October 2008, and partly because it's been too hard, emotionally, to do so right now.

The fourth anniversary of Nicki's death is coming up on November 23rd, then my mom's birthday is December 19th, then it's Christmas, followed by my mom and step-dad's wedding anniversary on December 28th.

In January, February, and March I will have the anniversaries of Derry's, Chumley's, Annie's and Mom's passings, in that order. Canadian winters are tough to endure, even without all the losses.

Anyway, enough of that!

Here are a few funnies from my Pinterest feed, to wind out the work week:

The final one, below, is for those of you in the U.S. who have your Thanksgiving coming up at the end of the month.

Have a terrific day!

Oh Kim, all photos of your lovely cats are welcome when you feel like sharing. There are just too many dates for you to remember loved ones right now. Some good and loving and some just too sad. And those make time like
Christmas not near as bright and cheerful. I can see Precious in the middle cartoon, come running out supposedly to see me, and really just wants to see food in the bowl, lol. I know right away what she loves most. Lynn and Precious XX

Kim I surely understand...I am always happy to see your Friday Funnies and I thank you for finding them.
Oh How I wish I had thought of decoy clothes.
Hugs and purrs

I understand. It is so hard when you have so many sad anniversaries coming up. Big hugs sent your way.
We totally understand too, it's tough, it really is. Those were cute funnies though!

I just don't have any clothes worth trying to keep cats off of. That saves a lot of time and money...

If you don't feel like posting, don't. Sometimes doing things is too difficult, and there's nothing wrong with stepping back and saying 'not today'. Sometimes that's what takes the effort and the courage.

I get your feeling of continued grief. The other day a memory popped up on FB that it has been two years since Sasha left us. Unlike you, I'm not good with dates and knew it was upcoming, but seeing the post was like a slap in the face. It brought back so many memories, most happy, but definitely some sad.
I do wish I'd know that cat life hack when I was working. Now, I don't worry about it.
The second one could be Saku, except when my son is around. Then he can't stop asking for pets and rubs.
Have a great weekend!

We are sorry you are having such a sad time. We are too, really - but We feel We can't allow Ourselves to give in to it. Next month will be the anniversary of Possum's departure for the Bridge and, of course, the day after tomorrow, it will be Grandpaw's Yahrzeit.
I look forward to the cartoons you post.
I'm so sorry you are having a heart-sad time. ((virtual hug))
