Friday Funnies

I'm actually posting a few funnies today; woohoo! It's likely because we had two consecutive days of sunshine and clear, blue skies this week, for the first time in months. (Don't we all feel so much better in sunshine than in endless grey gloom?)

I'm still waiting for the last kitchen reno estimate to come through, then it will be decision time. So there's nothing to report on yet in that regard! I begrudge the cost, but the work needs to be done, given the state of the kitchen. I wish I could pick up the phone and talk with Mom about it...I know she'd be pleased for me, and it is (was) her money funding it, after all. I hope some part of her Energy/Spirit knows.

Anyway, thanks for stopping by! (And apologies if any are repeats. LOL.)

This is especially fitting, considering our work situation right now.

I don't know where you find these funnies, but I'm laughing. Peepers would never make it to market with a paper bag because she too, would be inside it.
I've actually had 5 days of sun and may again tomorrow! It is making local news for above average temp of 60 today and dry since about last Friday!
I only hope when Spring gets here, that it does not turn to winter and destroy flowering/fruiting tree blossoms.
Have a great weekend and hope you get the answers you want for the re-do.

Those funnies made me laugh. For years I thought the words were wrapped up like a douche, but I know I was not alone!

Very funny, the paper bag one is so accurate. As for the musical ones, I'd really have to think to come up with the songs, let alone the lyrics. My sister was the music fan in the family, I preferred reading.

Good luck with your kitchen renovations decisions. It will be lovely when it is finished.
Those were goodies, we've missed your funnies!

The chickens could represent so many employees... Good luck with the choice of your renovation company; I know it must be a big decision. We miss our parents all the time but especially when we need advice, someone to tell us, 'This one; that's the one to use.' Simple advice, sorely missed.

Kim I know you mom's spirit and approval will reflect in your choices...after all you are Mom's daughter and have her eye decorating

Hi Kim! These were some great funnies. That first one is so, so true. I am confident your mom will be guiding your kitchen reno decisions. I bet it will turn out wonderfully. :)

It's so nice that you manage to find these funnies almost every week! A chuckle a day keeps the doctor away...or something like that.
