Friday Friends

I popped out for groceries at lunchtime on Wednesday and came home to this:

George had been hanging around all morning (he already had a can of Fancy Feast and far too many Greenies for his own good).

The grey/white one with the mouth issue has been around a couple of times before. He's neutered, very friendly, not nearly as food motivated as George.

Both are tolerant and respectful of each other, even when food is involved. I gave both of them Greenies, then got a can of FF for the grey/white one (more Greenies for George). George ate his treats then sat and watched while the grey/white one ate his fill, then polished off the remains. (Honestly, I don't know how George doesn't weigh 20 pounds.)

Apparently word is getting out that the human who lives in a certain unit is a sucker, big time!

Dearest Kim,
Just woke up so I sit up for a while...
If ONLY those kitties could tell us the stories of their life!
There must be a reason for them to wander around in the neighborhood for food and attention.
Hugs,
Mariette + Kitties
It is nice to see how friendly they are with each other.
Well these two are enjoying a great time with you. That's pretty obvious to see. And they evidently like you very much to be lying right there at your feet. No bribery included is there, lol.

Awww, they know you're a good soul, and a safe place to visit.
Oh my goodness, they are so darn cute together! It looks like they have you totally wrapped around there a little paws.

Kim excellent photos...amazing how well the kitty kat gossip line works. Too bad our postal service is not that efficient.
They are lucky to be befriended by you
Hugs Cecilia
I'm glad I'm not the only one who apparently has a sucker sign! That's impressive that they're both so polite and respectful about food.

Awww..they are both so sweet. It's such a shame their owners allow them to roam, but they're lucky in that you spoil the two of them.

Believe me, Kim, word gets around the cat population fast!
You totally made their day with the treats!
They are cuties!
Someone once told me that spoiling cats only makes them sweeter. I choose to believe that statement :)

I don't know how they communicate such things, but their news broadcasting is efficient.

You have a lovely pair of cats with distinct personalities! George seems to have a big appetite, while the grey/white one enjoys his meals more leisurely. It's heartwarming to hear they coexist so peacefully, especially around food. Your compassion for them shines through!

How I love seeing them both and learning about them. Yes, they broac]dcast the news to all other kitties including who is sweet to them aside from being a sucker for cats!
