Friday Funnies

I've got nothing to report on or new pics to share. It's beeping cold out and I've officially reached my tolerance for winter, as I do every year around the latter part of January. 🙄😆

Hopefully I haven't posted these before, but if I have, oh well, too bad! 😁

If you're enduring the cold now too, stay warm and safe!

Precious has a scratchy post in the bedroom. If I'm not awake by 5 on my own, she tears into this and it makes a racket! No taking her sweet time to give me nose kisses, lol. We are having our last bitter bitter cold day today and tonight. Then all the way up to the freezing mark tomorrow and the coming week. Can't wait for our polar ice cap in our yard to melt. Hope you are enjoying time with a cuppa in the redo home! Lynn and Precious XX

Kim, all I can say is the same... Stay warm as best you can. We never get as cold as you there and it never lasts for long here. Thank goodness.

I've been lucky not to have any cat deliberately wake me in the mornings. But when it comes to being woken, deliberately and inadvertently don't really matter.
Those are goodies and very appropriate too!
and february maxine 🥶🧊🐟💙‼️‼️😺
Even though we don't get the very low temperatures, I completely agree with Maxine!

We've been shivering in single digit up to maybe 11-15 in the day. I thin after tonight it will be more seasonable.

Kim I can 1000% agree with you today. Here in Dixie we have no idea about what REAL winter is like...we got an ittttty bittty taste of it 2 weeks in January first a wee ice event that hung around furEVER than we had snow here BUT the most amazing thing was the snow on our coast my grand kittties and their staff at 8" NEVER EVER in all their 25+ years of living there has that happened and it was so windy they had 12" drifts by their house. They live about 5 miles from the Atlantic Ocean. There is no snow equipment there. Thankfully during COVID they learned how to efficiently work from home which they did for 3 days. OMCs did it confuse the grandkitties...they thought they should have an all day buffet of kibble and lovinig.
Sending warm hugs to you and thinking of you.

Kim, I'm originally from Los Angeles, and every January and February, I question why I ever moved to the Northeast U.S.

We've been thinking how cold and miserable the weather is in January (and February is usually worse) but reading the blogs of our friends makes Us realise how lucky We are in that respect.

Hence my reason for escaping to Arizona this winter. The older I get, the less I can tolerate the cold and snow.
I'm kind of missing the cats here (no pets allowed) but in a few weeks I'm sure Saku will be back to waking me up.
