(Not) Wordless Wednesday
A few words, not an over-abundance of them.
As of today, I'm off on staycation, not back to work until October 15th. Hurrah! I have, however, picked up whatever is going around these days, the latest variant of COVID or a cold or whatever. Hopefully I'll be fine by week's end (started Sunday afternoon). If not, I'll just muddle along as best I can, and I have lots of books to read.
Below, a few pics from Sunday's walk downtown. It would be nice to find new spots, but a lot of places I used to walk through I avoid now, when on my own. Such is urban living in 2025.
Five year old Joseph, very friendly!
S/he was looking for a bit of my custard tart.
The usual shot of one of the Murney Towers at the downtown marina.
That's it! I'll be in and out, probably more out (I hope) for the next few weeks, will check in/visit when I can. Take care!

I always recommend homemade chicken soup, and I have it myself when I am not feeling well. Not only when I am not feeling well, but it really helps a lot when I am not feeling well. I put chicken , onions, a little garlic, rice, cabbage and sometimes carrots and zucchini. The onions and garlic act like natural antibiotics. It helps to heal the throat and clear the sinuses. As well, it tastes pretty good.
no matter, with safe travels…if you do 🧡🤎💛😸
Healthy hugs
