You're a cutie!
This cutie, who wouldn't pose nicely, was visiting with my adjoining neighbour and her two indoor cats this morning, as I headed out to grab a latté. Very friendly fellow!
Apparently he comes to visit the neighbour's cats quite often. (Through the screen on their patio door.)
As for my fence, this is as far as we are right now:
There were some unexpected challenges in digging down the two and a half feet needed, but after two days of back-breaking work, they managed. So the support posts were put in yesterday (in concrete) and left to cure/harden. The guys are supposed to be back later this morning (fingers crossed, as rain is pending) and I hope it won't be much longer before they get some panels up. I'm looking forward to having a bit of privacy again! (I'm sticking with the legal 7ft height limit, but I wish I had gone with 8ft instead. However, if anyone would get caught and fined, it would be Ms. Goody Two Shoes here, so legal limit it is.)

to be below freeze line and sturdy enough to not sag and fall over later on. They do seem to be going at it fairly fast. We just had a slight rainfall, so hopefully yours will not be too much more than than. Got off my bike just in time for the mist to start, drove home and parked when the real stuff fell, lol.
WOW what a cotton candy sky

The fence got started here today with the removal of the panels, post, and concrete. The last item was the biggest part of the job. Hopefully the posts get set tomorrow.
Lovely photo of the sunrise!
Good luck with the fence, and I agree, stick with the limit. Those of us who always try to behave are always caught when we don’t, which maybe is a mercy.
The sunrise photo is a delight.
Take care, enjoy your day and the week ahead.
And the sunrise is so beautiful, it makes Mummy cry!
