Happy November 1st!
I'm not sure if I should write "happy" as it pertains to November 1st, as it's typically a dark and dreary month here. But whether the beginning of this month is a happy occasion for you or not, I hope we'll all embrace it, or at least endure it. It certainly looks like November here; it's a wild, blustery, rainy day, and a lot of the trees are bare now, or almost bare. The pics below were snapped yesterday morning, as I was walking through the swamp. It had been minus 7 overnight, so even at 9 - 10 AM there still was frost in shady spots. Halloween seemed quiet; I neither like it nor celebrate it and didn't notice many kids out and about. Some of the residents in this complex did have their units decorated and were doling out candy, presumably in a socially distanced manner. I'm just glad it's over for another year. Now my mind has turned toward the winter holiday season, with its decorations and lights. I put up two of my warm white light strings...
