Sunday "Happys"
I've been feeling a bit "off" this weekend, haven't done much at all either day, very atypical for me. So I thought it would be the perfect time to "jot" a few "happys" down and reset my focus.
I'm happy for:
Universal Blessings, Light and Mercy to All Beings.
I'm happy for:
- My morning mug of coffee--I had given up coffee for a couple of years, till I found a nice low-acid blend that I can drink without tummy upset. I love my morning coffee--and the lite coffee cream!
- Spring blossoms and rich, green grass.
- A weekend of sunshine.
- Getting two hanging baskets of pink geraniums from a local grocery store. I'll be doing a garden centre run mid-month, but it was nice to get something early.
- Getting sunflower seeds as well. I hope that some germinate, after I plant them, and that they survive the cats' gardening "help."
- A kid-quiet night last night. I thought they must have been drugged into unconsciousness or be away, they were so quiet. Unlike Friday evening and night, where it seemed like an endless screaming, door-slamming, pounding tantrum from the boy. I'd like to remove both their vocal chords, frankly.
- Two radio stations that I get via the new digital TV package, one jazz and one classical.
- Snapping some floral pics yesterday, on the way to the grocery store. The weather's been so cold and crappy that I've not been walking much, am glad I got at least a few snapshots of something other than the cats.
- Plenty of food in the freezer...I just have to cook. (Okay, cooking's not a happy for me, as everyone knows, but eating sure is.)
- Having weekends off! I take it for granted now, to have a Monday through Friday job, but that wasn't always the case and I need to remember that many jobs don't offer that.

Along the way to the grocery store.
The daffodils must have peaked yesterday, as the
same ones were done today, when I passed by again.

Oh there was a great big giant humungus gigantic and utterly HUGE full moon last night - that's what I blame for all the crazy emotional female health madness (well mine anyway! LOL!!)!
