Well, *that* explains it!

Last night was a full moon. I realized it when I was taking out the garbage around 4:30AM today and looking up at a full, gorgeous moon in a clear, dark sky.

That explains my verbal diarrhea yesterday during the workshop, as well as the nuttiness of the week in general.

I really need to start noting the dates of the full moon, so I can mentally brace myself. Seriously.

The week is ending on a sad note for my co-worker: Her second (and only other) elderly cat had to be helped to the Bridge late this afternoon. Ozzie, brother to Rocky, who had passed in February. My co-worker had taken a half-day vacation, felt a deep need to leave work and be at home. She thought it was just work-related stress, but when she got home, she found that her 18-year old Ozzie had been peeing blood, and quite a lot. Ozzie was the one with IBD and a recently discovered abdominal lump, and she always expected he would pass first, so it was a surprise to her when Rocky went to the Bridge in February with acute renal failure. I think that perhaps Ozzie just didn't want to go on without his sibling, as they were very close, and I do believe their energies are reunited now, in some form or another.

I hope everyone else's week has been okay.

The ducks were hanging around in front of our building early this morning.
Probably the same pair that I saw yesterday.
There's a row of forsythia bushes along the south side of our office building.
The bluebells are out (think they're bluebells...or something similar).
Purrs from the boys, peace and Light from me.

I so want to bring those ducks home! They are so pretty (and handsome)!
I'm so sorry about your co-worker's Ozzie. She must have a very strong bond with him and must have felt him needing her (though she didn't know it at that time).

Sorry to hear about Ozzie, although I bet he's happy to be reunited with his Rocky. I'll send some prayers for the co-worker.

Oh, I feel for your co-worker, it must be so hard to let go of two special kitties in such a short time. If there is any solace, it is they are together again without pain, and her love for them gave them a long life here with her.

I so wish our landscape was as green and vibrant as yours. The snow is melting quickly now so hopefully we'll be there soon.

Hope you have a great rest of the weekend! (What the heck were you doing up at 4:30 a.m.? Were the neigbours being noisy again?)
we send our deepest sympathy about Ozzie (what an adorable name) ((((hugs)))) to your co-worker
Love, Caren and Cody
